Mastering the Art of Quartz Care

Unlocking the Secrets to Quartz Care

Caring for Your Quartz Surface

Quartz surfaces seamlessly blend modern sophistication with timeless luxury, offering unparalleled strength and durability. Maintaining the everlasting finish requires simple and routine care. To clean it, use warm water and a mild detergent or a quality spray and wipe for enduring beauty and unmatched performance.

Stubborn Stains or Dried Spills

For stubborn stains or dried spills, apply a non-abrasive household cleaner and rinse to remove residue. Adhered materials like food, gum, or dried paint can be addressed by scraping away excess material with a plastic putty knife, followed by cleaning with a damp cloth. For extra-stubborn stains, use a no-scratch pad along with a non-abrasive cleaner.

Scratch Resistant

Quartz boasts high scratch resistance, but it's essential to avoid using sharp objects directly on the surface. Refrain from using sharp knives or screwdrivers directly onto the surface to prevent any potential damage.

Heat Tolerance

Quartz exhibits excellent heat resistance, surpassing many other stone surfaces. It remains unaffected by temperatures lower than 150°C (300°F). However, like all stone materials, sudden temperature changes can cause damage. To protect the surface, never place hot pots and pans directly on it. Always use a hot pad or trivet under cooking units such as electric frying pans.

Minimal Maintenance

Virtually maintenance-free, Quartz's hard, non-porous surfaces need no sealing to renew their luster. Cleaning is straightforward, often requiring only soap and water or a mild detergent. In cases where additional cleaning is necessary, a non-abrasive soft soap with a non-scratch or delicate scrub pad can be used, followed by a thorough rinse to remove residue.

Cleaning Agents to Avoid

Quartz can be permanently damaged by exposure to strong chemicals and solvents. Avoid using products containing Trichlorethane or Methylene chloride, such as paint removers. Steer clear of highly aggressive cleaning agents with high alkaline/pH levels. Products containing oils or powders should be rinsed off thoroughly. If exposure to damaging products occurs, rinse immediately with clean water to neutralize the effects
